Keel-boating gets different reactions from different people, and doesn't always show their best sides.

Some get a little wind-burned and windblown.

Some get windblown and dopey.

Some have an overwhelming urge to wear 300
pounds of clothing.

Some are just amazed and overwhelmed.

Some are somewhat bored and un-amazed.

Some are, well, just, under-whelmed.

Some apparently feel very patriotic.

Some feel the need to return to their natural
environment, nearly au-natural!

When the wind gets light you have several options.

You can try and go sailing, and
paddle home.

You can curl up and go to sleep to try and avoid
someone making you drive with the motor on.

You can pitch in and do some boat
maintainence.

Or, you can say to heck with sailing, get really
creative, invent some bizarre craft, and then
float down a river on it and hope it holds together.
This one is called the 'Bublik'.

Not being able to go sailing sometimes makes the die-hards go a little wacko.

Then there are times when the wind isn't light!

How many of those powerboats do you think just
called 911?

Yeah, he meant to do that!

Kind of a high traffic zone to be practicing righting
a hobie.

And occasionally, people actually sail upright!
