Summary of responsibilities: check that all hulls have all equipment, particularly stern and cockpit plugs (attached to boat) check that the cockpit plugs are pulled out so that the boats don’t fill with rainwater check that the bungee cords securing the daggerboards are still good (i.e., not frayed, not shortened beyond use) Things to do from time to time: check that the sails are not ripped, and have all their battens check that the gooseneck fittings on the masts are not loose due to rivets being partially pulled out or holes expanded check that the universal joints (or what passes for them) between tiller and hiking stick aren’t hanging by a thread check that a stern plug is available in the sail locker drawer, or somewhere easy to get to  |
