Membership Stickers

Stickers for the next quarter should be printed according to the following chart:
 Stickers for: Fall WinterSpringSummer
 SeptemberDecember MarchJune

This is a fun process that can sometimes be a little frustrating.

First you have to make sure you have the necessary materials. You need:
-Laser printer foil paper or foil sheets (the sheets are shiny and come in multiple colors)
-Sticker labels that are 4 x 20
-Laser printer

Then use the files below and the correct date for the quarter you are making the sticker for (the dates are when the sticker expires). These files are also on the computer in the office so you can just use those if you are making them there.

You will put the same page through the printer 3 times; once for for the boat logo and month/year the sticker expires, once for the "Good thru end of:" and once for the foil. For this reason, it is important to figure out which way the printer prints onto the page. For the printer we currently have (brother HL-2140) you feed the sticker page in with the stickers facing up and the top of the page going into the printer first. You only need to print the first page of each file before you put the foil on.

After you have printed the sail logo and date onto the labels you need to tape one of the foil sheets, shiny side up, so that the foil covers all the labels but does not start exactly at the top of the page (otherwise it will get stuck in the printer). Print the second page of either the date or "Good thru..." files (because it is just a blank page) and then peel away the foil and you have the stickers!
