RSOs get a discounted rate of $5 per column inch in black and white. Per day, this boils down to:

$400 for a full page
$200 for a half page
$100 for a quarter page
$50 for an eighth page

It is $100 more for one color and $200 more for full color.

For normal editions you must submit the ad 3 business days before you would like it to appear by 10AM. For special editions like the Welcome Edition or the Orientation edition the deadline is 1 week beforehand by 10AM or they will email you.

Apparently, if we are advertising for a campus event, the ad is covered by the advertising budget allotted to us by the SAO. Contact them for information.

Payment must be made by cash, check or credit card UPFRONT if we do not get a budget number from the SAO.

To actually place an ad you send an email to salesteam@dailyuw.com with your name, the office address, Washington Yacht Club, the size of the ad, whether it is black and white or color, the date you want the ad to appear and a PDF of the ad itself. You can also call them at 206-543-2336.

Attached is an ad that is commonly edited and used. This ad is also on the computers in the Resource Center where you can edit it using Adobe Illustrator. The Daily will create an ad for $20 if you send them information/specifics but we do already have this ad.
