Program Director

Thissite is your roadmap to the world of the "program director" - that mostvague and official-sounding of titles, which you will soon come torealize means "director of just about anything you feel like directing, especially the paperwork". Have fun, and take notes. The most importantthing you will learn is that there is never nothing to do. Boredom doesnot mean the task at hand is not worth doing.

You main job is to keep everything under control (not as hard as you might think).

Some things that you do:
-Pick up the mail from the SAO office in Condon 410 (4th floor) and distribute it to whom it may concern (for example, all officer updates from other yacht clubs goes to the reciprocal moorage chair-currently Dennis Bogh whose address you can find in the database).
-Pick up the membership forms from the Info Desk/Ticket Office (Condon 207) and make the necessary changes in the database.
-Answer any email you have.
-Check phone messages (and answer it when it rings).
-Pickup the ratings from the WAC and enter them into the database. Thenphotocopy the page, keep the original in the office binder and put thecopy in the binder at the WAC.
-Make sure there are enough of the forms to go around
-Make stickers (an awesome process including SHINY PAPER).
-There are also tons of random things that will come up for you to do.
