Starting and Departing Employees

New Employee Checklist

1.  Elect by vote of Exec. Council.
2.  Exec. Council to establish rate of pay.
3.  Complete form I-9 and place with completed W-4 in employee file.
4.  Report hiring to DSHS.
5.  Create employee in Quickbooks as "Firstname Lastname".
6.  Add to "Employees" tab of payroll spreadsheet on dante.
7.  Associate position with member in database.

Departing Employee Checklist

1.  Remove association between member and position in database.
2.  Set status to inactive and record separation date on "Employees" tab of
payroll spreadsheet on dante.
